This application guard, which will be coming to Windows 10 Enterprise and Windows 10 Insiders, is set to make Microsoft Edge the most secure browser for enterprise users. Under the hood, it is powered by an Isolated “virtual” Edge session. Additionally, several other security features are coming to Office 365. Windows Defender Advanced Threat Protection and Office 365 ATP now share intelligence mutually across both services. Other features include Office 365 Advanced Threat Protection, and Office 365 Threat Intelligence. These features enable users to receive an email immediately with a placeholder attachment while the actual attachment undergoes scanning, and  provides alerts and information on the origination of specific attacks.

Last up is some new security for mobile applications. Leading off on this end is the fact that Outlook for iOS and Android will now be powered by the Microsoft cloud for office 365 commercial users. This ultimately means that no mailbox data will be cached outside of Office 365.
