Microsoft announces Cloud Platform roadmap to be provide customers with Microsoft transparency

Microsoft has announced the Cloud Platform roadmap, which consists of a new website showing the latest news and developments in the Cloud Platform business. The Cloud Platform roadmap will also showcase technology that is currently in development, up-and-coming, and readily available across many different products, services, and software. Microsoft’s goal is to provide customers with the latest information by showing what Microsoft is developing to best meet their customers’ needs. Microsoft hopes that being transparent with its customers, they can help them make informed strategic technology decisions.

The Cloud Platform roadmap covers Microsoft cloud services like Azure, Intune, Power BI, and Visual Studio Online as well as Microsoft server offerings like Windows Server, System Center, SQL Server, and Visual Studio. The Cloud Platform roadmap also includes information on connected system offerings such as Microsoft’s Analytics Platform System, StorSimple, and, of course, the Microsoft Cloud Platform System.

Microsoft hopes that by giving customers a complete view and full access to their Cloud Platform roadmap, customers can follow what Microsoft is developing, will develop, or plan to develop for what is coming next through Microsoft’s product pipeline and take advantage of Microsoft’s ever-changing and growing product line.
