Besides Azure Data Lake reaching general availability, Microsoft has, even more, Azure news. Starting today, Azure Advisor is available as a public preview. According to Microsoft, Azure Advisor is “a personalized recommendation engine that provides proactive best practices guidance for optimally configuring your Azure resources.”
Azure Advisor can evaluate enterprise customers’ current resource setup and make suggestions based on categories like high availability, cost, security, and performance. If Azure Advisor finds any risks or potential issues, you will be alerted to the problem areas and be provided with recommendations.
Also, Azure Advisor provides an impact evaluation, description of the problem, resource, and update information.
