Media search makes it to the production version of GroupMe for Windows phones

| |

GroupMe is a free instant messaging app that features group messaging and allows the user to control which conversations have access to notifications. In addition to messaging using the phone app, users can also chat with people online groupme.com, or if they don’t have a GroupMe account they can even chat via SMS. GroupMe runs on iOS, Android, and Windows phones, and the latter received an update adding in some functionality that was in the beta version of the app just a week ago.

Here's the changelog:

Media Search! Find animated GIFs and images to send right from GroupMe.

If you're a GroupMe user on a Windows phone, go hit that update. Or, you can download the app from the link below and let us know what you think of the new functionality in the comments.
