Ultimate Marvel vs Capcom 3 on Xbox One

The revamp of the popular Xbox 360 fighting game, Marvel vs Capcom 3, has finally arrived on the Xbox One with a resolution and framerate upgrade. Named Ultimate Marvel vs Capcom 3, this new version of the game boasts a full 1080p resolution and 60 frames per second framerate and also includes all of the downloadable content (DLC) that was released after the original game’s launch.

Ultimate Marvel vs Capcom 3 is fairly cheap for a new game with so much content (currently $38) and is great value for those that hadn’t played it when it first came out on the Xbox 360. Gamers should be aware though that the proper sequel to Marvel vs Capcom 3, Marvel vs Capcom: Infinite is due for release sometime in 2017 and will likely see several improvements and new gameplay features. The deciding factor for many when choosing these games could be the characters. The upcoming Marvel vs Capcom: Infinite appears to feature characters from the Marvel Studios films (Avengers, Iron-Man, Guardians of the Galaxy, etc) while Ultimate Marvel vs Capcom 3 contains many of these characters as well as those used in the X-Men films.

Are you going to choose one of these games over the other or will you simply buy both? Let us know in the comments below.
