Today is a big day in the world of Windows 10 Mobile — HP has officially announced the Elite x3, a powerful Windows 10 Mobile smartphone with amazing specs, gorgeous design, and awesome capabilities. For those curious, the Lumia 950 XL has pretty much the same specs at the Lumia 950, except for a bigger 5.7-inch display and a Snapdragon 810 processor.
The Lumia 950 has the following sensors: Ambient light sensor, Accelerometer, Proximity sensor, Barometer, Gyroscope, Magnetometer, and SensorCore. The Lumia 950 also has an Iris scanner. The HP Elite x3 has the following sensors: Ambient light sensor + proximity combo, Accelerometer+gyro, eCompass, Pressure, Hall effect, NFC, and GPS. It also has both an Iris scanner and a fingerprint reader.
While the Lumia 950 works on AT&T and can be purchased unlocked via the Microsoft Store, the HP Elite x3 is slated to work on AT&T and T-Mobile, with a possibility of Verizon.
