Lumia 830 rumored to feature a 10MP camera and Snapdragon 400 SoC processor
Lumia 830, codenamed Tesla, has been spotted in plethora of rumors during the past few weeks. It’s said to be a mid-range smartphone with a PureView camera on board, and has been spotted on Zauba, a logistics tracking website.
According to a new report from the often-reliable WPDang, the alleged Lumia 830 will come with a 10 megapixel camera with PureView technology. Additionally, it will be powered by a quad-core Snapdragon 400 SoC for processing power. They further revealed that Lumia 830 will be the thinnest smartphone in the complete Lumia portfolio.
Reportedly, other specifications include a 4.5-inch display sporting a resolution of 1280 x 720 pixels, with Windows Phone 8.1 as its operating system out of the box. Previous rumors suggest that it will measure 139.4 mm x 70.7 mm x 8.5 mm, but there’s no official confirmation.
The report also revealed that Lumia 730 will come with a 5MP front-facing camera, a 720p display, an 8.7MP rear camera for photos and videos, Windows Phone 8.1 and is expected to come with a €300 price tag.
Microsoft has scheduled an event on September 4th at IFA 2014 where they are expected to take the wraps off these two devices. In the US, the handset is expected to land on AT&T and Verizon if it turns out to be real.Further reading: Lumia 830, Microsoft, Windows Phone
