Lumia 640 XL is coming to the USA via AT&T on June 26

After a long wait, users in the USA will soon be able to get their hands on a Microsoft Lumia 640 XL via AT&T. As revealed by Microsoft, on June 26, the device will be available for purchase on contract from stores throughout the nation. No matter what plan is chosen, the price will remain at $250.

With a large 5.7 inch, 720p screen, the Lumia 640 XL is the biggest phone to come bearing the 'Microsoft' branding so far. And with a 3000 mAh battery, 13MP rear facing camera, a Snapdragon 400 processor backed up with 1GB of RAM and a variety of colors to choose from (along with a low price tag), it is certainly quite an attractive proposition.

This news comes following earlier rumors that AT&T would be picking up both the Lumia 640 and XL. That it has come to pass will prove to be good news for Microsoft, which has historically had a difficult time selling Windows Phones in its home territory.
