Lumia 625 is now receiving the Lumia Cyan update with Windows Phone 8.1 in Canada
Microsoft has been rolling out the Lumia Cyan update for number of existing Lumia handset. The wider roll out commenced with the Lumia 625 and Lumia 925 in most international markets. In North America, Lumia 1520 became the first handset to get the taste of the update, but the update is now rolling out for more handsets in the region.
Nokia Canada confirmed that Lumia 625 is rolling out for users in Canada, making it the first WP device in the region to get the Cyan update — Lumia 1020 roll out was a false alarm.
The handset is available from Telus and Rogers in the region, so it makes sense for the update to be a little late. Nonetheless, if you’re rocking a Lumia 625 tied to any of the above mentioned carriers, go to Settings on your device and see if its available.
If you’ve already updated your device, sound off in the comments below about your thoughts regarding the features introduced in the update — especially for those who didn’t get a chance to try the developer preview.Further reading: Canada, Lumia Cyan, Windows Phone
