Lumia 535 looks like an excellent budget-friendly offering from Microsoft, and the first device to carry the logo of the software giant. However, a weird touch screen issue has been plaguing users of the device in several regions where it went on sale. Several users reported incorrectly detected touch positions, failed multi-touch gestures, low screen sensitivity and even fails to detect a touch at times.
Microsoft has identified the issue, and confirmed a fix would be release in the form of a software update. As a matter of fact, it is confirmed to roll out for Vietnam users. Microsoft made an official announcement that a software update to address the issue would be released on December 27th over-the-air.
There’s a possibility that other markets where Lumia 535 went on sale will get the update as well. So, make sure to keep an eye on the notification center or check manually by navigating to Settings > Phone Update. We’ll update you as soon as the fix is released, stay tuned to WinBeta.Further reading: Lumia 535, Microsoft, Windows Phone, Windows Phone 8.1
