Back in late January, some lucky Xbox One users saw the Xbox 360 title Left 4 Dead 2 show up on their consoles via Backward Compatible. That development was short-lived, however, because whatever voodoo allowed them to see it was quickly squelched by Microsoft. Today, however, Xbox Live’s Major Nelson let us know via Twitter that the title is once again available on the Xbox One, only this time it’s for real.

As always, you can keep up with the complete list of Backward Compatible titles over at Major Nelson’s site. Stay tuned to WinBeta for more news on the growing list of Xbox 360 titles that will run (well or not) on the Xbox One.
