Yet another leak in the Windows 8 homefront. Windows 8 sports a “Metro UI” look and feel and it is clear in these leaked screenshots that we will be seeing this new user interface in Microsoft’s upcoming operating system.

As winreview.ru reports, based on the leaked screenshots, Windows 8 has a similarity to Office 15 when it comes to the user interface. Every step of the Windows 8 installer has an indicator and it is broken into stages with an explanation. The installation of Windows 8 took a mere 20 minutes in a virtual machine environment.

From what is reported, the latest Windows 8 build string is 6.2.7971.winmain.110324-1900. Microsoft, still being very secretive, has begun to distribute these early copies of Windows 8 to OEMs though its Connect program.

Just recently, a screenshot depicting the new system reset feature which allows for a quick restore of the OS within minutes, was leaked.

Stay tuned as we keep you posted on any late breaking Windows 8 news.
