Latest Surface Laptop firmware update increases docking compatibility

Posted in:

Microsoft last released new firmware for the Surface Laptop just a few days ago, and yet another update went live just yesterday. This time, Surface Laptop owners on the Windows 10 2018 Update should be seeing new firmware which increases docking compatibility with Surface Dock (via Neowin)

As one should expect, this latest update doesn’t change much aside from compatibility. According to Microsoft, there are no security, reliability, connectivity, performance, or battery life with this update. Anyway, the update bumps the Surface System Aggregator up to version 135.2139.257.0.

This update should be showing up now in Windows Update, or you can manually download in MSI format by checking here. Are you seeing this update on your Surface Laptop? If you have, are you experiencing any issues? Let us know in the comments below.
