Latest Skype Preview makes its way to the Windows Insider Slow and Release Rings

| |

Last week, Microsoft pushed a new update to the Skype Preview UWP app for Windows Insiders on the Fast Ring, bringing new features such as support for Skype Translator for calls to phone numbers and more. Today, Microsoft has released another incremental update which bumps the version to, and this latest version is now rolling out to the Fast, Slow and Release Preview rings (via Neowin).

While there is no new changelog this time, here are all the new features that have been enabled in the previous version:

  • Introduce friends and family on Skype by sharing their Skype contact details
  • Capture and share video messages with friends and family on Skype—even if they’re not online
  • Manage your conversations and save time by marking conversations as read or unread
  • Don’t miss another call by forwarding them to a mobile or landline

All these features should be available pretty soon for users on the production ring. In the meantime, Windows Insiders can get this new update from the Windows Store or the download link below.
