Latest Bing Search iOS app update makes it faster and more customizable

Microsoft’s official Bing Search app for Apple’s iOS devices such as the iPad and iPhone updated this week with a big speed boost for loading webpages, a new option to hide the homepage feed, faster map and list switching, and a variety of unnamed bug fixes. Here’s the full release notes.

You speak, we listen! We made the following improvements in this release:

  • Ability in settings to hide the homepage feed if you don’t want to see it by default
  • More seamless map and list switching experience for local category searches. Try: “restaurants near me”, “movie theaters in Seattle”, etc
  • Faster loading of webpages – we strive to make Bing the fastest and most beautiful mobile search app
  • Various other changes and bug fixes, stability and performance improvements
