The Microsoft Store sent out an email today stating that October 23 is the last day to pre-order the Surface Pro 4 if you want to be one of the first to get “the tablet that can replace your laptop” on October 26. Surface Pro 4 was the clear upgrade choice for me after I sold my Surface RT, but after the Surface Book reveal, I am clearly undecided. I have a laptop that does everything I need it to do, but I still miss my Surface RT for certain things, like video and just browsing the web.
The more likely choice for me is the Surface Pro 4; it does everything I want it to do and more on Windows 10 and I can get the Surface Pro 4 model I want at the price I can realistically afford.
