With the Christmas holiday and New Years now behind them, the Windows Insider team is back at work in their offices at Microsoft. This timing is good news for Windows Insiders, who should be keeping their fingers crossed for a new Windows 10 build on Thursday.

According to Dona Sarkar, a build candidate is “looking good” in canary rings, and will be baked in the Selfhost ring today. This means that if things go as planned by the end of the day today, we can expect a new Windows Insider Fast Ring build on Thursday.

The news is not surprising, really, as just yesterday Dona Sarkar teased that more information would be coming today on a new build. It’s definitely exciting, though, as it’s been a good two weeks since we last saw the release of a new build complete with Windows Timeline, and Sets.
