Games with Gold

Today is December 1, which means that Xbox Live Gold subscribers will be able to add two new Xbox One games and two backward-compatible Xbox 360 games to their game library. Starting today, Xbox One owners can download Square Enix’s Sleeping Dogs: Definitive Edition as well as the Xbox 360 platform game Outlast. Then starting December 16, survival horror game Outlast will be available to download on the Xbox One while racing fans will be able to play Burnout Paradise for free on both platforms. As usual, we’ll add download links and official descriptions for all titles below

Xbox One games

Sleeping Dogs: Definitive Edition (available from December 1-31)

You’ll have to prove yourself worthy as you fight your way up the organization, taking part in brutal criminal activities without blowing your cover.

Outlast (available from December 16- January 15)

A long-abandoned home for the mentally ill, recently re-opened by the “research and charity” branch of the transnational Murkoff Corporation, the asylum has been operating in strict secrecy… until now.Acting on a tip from an anonymous source, independent journalist Miles Upshur breaks into the facility, and what he discovers walks a terrifying line between science and religion, nature and something else entirely. Once inside, his only hope of escape lies with the terrible truth at the heart of Mount Massive.

Xbox 360 games

Outland (available from December 1-15)

In the middle of Balance and Chaos, now stands one man whose efforts may bridge the ancient divide, or doom the world to destruction. The award-winning studio Housemarque, maker of Super Stardust HD, has teamed up with Ubisoft to create an ambitious platformer inspired by epic adventures such as the Prince of Persia® series. Each player’s adventure will take him between light and darkness and force him to adapt to an ever-changing world.

Burnout Paradise (available from December 16-31)

Race, jump and smash through the streets of Paradise City in muscle cars, exotics, hot rods and even supercharged SUVs designed from the ground up to look beautiful whether they’re brand new or torn to pieces! Earn your Burnout Driver’s license by competing in over 100+ events including Races, Stunt Run, Road Rages and Marked Man. Compete against your friends for Time Road Rules and tear up the streets in Showtime, the all new destructive open world crashing experience. Take down your friends and grab their mugshots for your trophy room using the Xbox Live Vision Camera!

As a reminder, Murdered: Soul Suspect, an Xbox One game from November’s Games with Gold lineup is still available to download through December 15. That’s a lot of games to keep you busy during the holiday season, and we can’t wait to see what the Xbox team has in the pipeline for 2017.
