A demo for the upcoming dance game, Just Dance 2017, is now available to download for free on the Xbox One in several regions. It isn’t currently showing up for gamers in Australia and some other countries but it’s expected to launch worldwide soon.
The Just Dance 2017 Demo contains just one song from the full game but it does give newcomers a look at how the system works and shows long-time fans of the franchise any visual adjustments that have been made to the menus and scoring, etc.
Here’s the official description of the demo: Try Just Dance 2017 for free now. Just Dance 2017 is more fun & easier to play than ever! No camera needed to play. Simply download the free Just Dance Controller App to your smartphone to dance with up to 5 friends! The Just Dance 2017 Demo is also compatible with Kinect for up to 6 players.
Stay tuned, Just Dance 2017 is coming this October with over 40 tracks at launch, and more than 200 songs available via Just Dance Unlimited! 3-month trial included with your game.
To play the demo, users will need to either have a Kinect connected to their Xbox One console or have the official Just Dance 2017 smartphone app installed on their iPhone or Android device. While Ubisoft developed a Just Dance 2016 app for Windows phones last year, they appear to have abandoned the platform in favor of its competitors.
The full version of Just Dance 2017 is due out in October 2016. It will contain more than 40 new tracks and access to a variety of routines and songs from previous entries in the Just Dance game series. A new spin-off game series, Just Sing, was announced recently. The first entry in that franchise will launch a month before Just Dance 2016 in September 2016. Unlike the Just Dance games, Just Sing will focus on singing.
