Rahul Kohli, a popular English actor best known for playing Ravi Chakrabarti in the iZombie TV series, made the jump to Mixer this week with the launch of his own channel and a test stream where he played the Star Wars Battlefront II video game.

Kohli isn’t a stranger to video games having provided his voice to the Red vs. Blue series and the Rage 2 and Gears 5 video games. He’s also been a very vocal Star Wars fan on his social media profiles which makes his choice to play Star Wars Battlefront II a very on-brand decision. In fact, it’s likely that his Mixer channel will feature a heavy dose of Star Wars gaming as the current description for it reads, “That really unknown actor who decided to exclusively play and stream as many LucasArt’s Star Wars titles as possible.”

Mixer has attracted a lot of big streamers to the platform over the past few months but Rahul Kohli is one of the few celebs who have started channels that aren’t generally known for their gaming. It should be interesting to see if any other actors join him on Microsoft’s video game streaming service going forward.
