It’s a Minecraft – Fallout Mash-up Pack, coming soon!

Fallout fans are sure to be excited about Mojang’s recent announcement for Minecraft on consoles. The new Fallout Mash-Up Pack brings the post-apocalyptic role-playing game to the sandbox with a slew of 44 new textures for NPCs, block overhaul, and the original Fallout soundtrack compilation.

This includes their favorite characters from the series such as Nick Valentine, Tinker Tom, Paladin Cross, Jangles The Moon Monkey, and of course the Vault 111 survivor himself.

Not to mention a completely immersive world of Fallout landmarks that you can salvage from such as the Capitol building, Tenpenny Tower, Brotherhood of Steel airships, and plenty to discover. Even the mobs weren’t safe from radiation where ghouls, mutants, madmen, and two-headed cows will be waiting for you.

With what Mojang is calling a “retro-futuristic overhaul”, the UI has been redecorated to mimic the Pip-Boy, a necessity for all survivors in the wasteland of the post-nuclear world in the Fallout series.

The pack will be available “in the coming days”  for $5.99 USD on Xbox One, PlayStation 4, Wii U, Xbox 360, PlayStation 3 and PlayStation Vita. Unfortunately, there is no mention of Windows 10 or Pocket Edition.

From the preview of the Fallout Mash-Up texture pack, it makes Minecraft look like it’s worth crawling out Vault 111 for.
