Microsoft has just released the ISO files for Windows 10 Build 16299 via the Windows Insider website. Coming one day after the Windows 10 Fall Creators Update launched to the public, this is a great way for Insiders to get a fresh start with Windows 10 on their PCs (via Neowin.)
These are the first ISO files to go live on the Windows Insider website ever since Microsoft pushed out the files for build 16296 two weeks ago. Build 16299 initially went live to Fast Ring Windows Insiders three weeks ago and was also shortly pushed out to Slow Ring Insiders on September 29th.
Anyway, this time Microsoft is only pushing out three types of ISO downloads: Windows 10 Insider Preview, Windows 10 Insider Preview Enterprise, and Windows 10 Insider Preview Home China. Other usual SKUs including Education and Home Single Language are still there but are instead now being combined into the installation packages. Other downloads include:
- Symbols MSI Insider Preview – Build 16299 32-bit / 64-bit
- Features on Demand Pack Insider Preview (part 1) – Build 16299 32-bit / 64-bit
- Features on Demand Pack Insider Preview (part 2) – Build 16299 32-bit / 64-bit
- Language Pack Bundle Insider Preview – Build 16299
- Inbox Apps Bundle Insider Preview – Build 16299
You can find the ISOs and these files by visiting the Windows Insider Web page. Since build 16299 was released, Microsoft followed up to release build 16299.15, and then Cumulative Update Build 16299.19, so the ISO files are a great way to catch up if you’ve missed the latest builds. The company also pushed out the first Redstone 4 build just last week to Fast Ring Insiders.
