The Microsoft Outlook app updated to Version 4.2114.0 for Apple’s iOS devices today. This latest update was a relatively small one but it did change the way calendar notifications are handled by now allowing alerts that are dismissed on a mobile device to still appear on other devices such as a Windows 10 PC.

This is a minor change but it’s still an important one for those users who find themselves missing event notifications.

Here’s the full release notes:

Never miss a meeting again! Now on Outlook mobile when you dismiss calendar notifications on one device, they will still show up on your other devices, so you don’t miss anything important.

Feel free to send us any comments or questions by going to Settings > Help & Feedback – we’d love to hear from you.

Microsoft continues to improve Outlook on all supported platforms on a fairly regular basis. The email and calendar productivity service also received an update on Android devices earlier this month and improved Microsoft Teams integration has now been enabled across the board.
