Two new app updates have rolled out over the weekend, adding improvements to the Instagram Beta app and Nextgen Reader app for Windows Phone 8. Let’s take a look at what’s new in these updates.
There is no doubt that Instagram is one heck of a popular social service. The official Instagram Beta app for Windows Phone has been bumped to 0.4.2.0 and features performance improvements, crash fixes and UX refinements.
“More than 150 million users love Instagram! It’s an easy way to capture and share moments from your Windows Phone. Edit your photos with one of the beautiful custom filters. Transforms everyday moments into works of art you’ll want to share with friends and family. Share your photos in a sequence easily accessible by your friends and follow your friends’ photos with a single click. Every time you open Instagram, see new photos from your closest friends, and creative people from all over the world,” the app description reads.
On the other hand, we have Nextgen Reader, a popular RSS reader for Windows Phone 8. This app has been bumped to version 220.127.116.11 and features the ability to save to OneNote and a fix to an error when posting to Twitter.
“Clean, beautiful and simple design, inspired from Windows Phone with offline support, multiple live tiles, image caching and a lot more. Always read full articles without clutter (powered by Readability). Discover popular feeds through featured section or browse through categories in subscriptions hub. Share news on your social networks or save to OneNote, Instapaper, Pocket and Readability,” the app description reads.
