Windows 10 build 14905 brings new keyboard support for Edge and more to Fast Ring PCs

With both the PC and Mobile versions of the Windows 10 Anniversary Update essentially out the development door for the Windows team, it seems it’s now time for Insiders to get back to work helping shape the next update of Windows 10.

Despite the warnings of a staggered releases cycle for PC and Mobile builds as the Windows team focuses on further developing Windows 10’s OneCore plumbing, it seems Insiders will be getting their hands on both a PC and Mobile release at the same time today.

Lead of the Windows Insider program, Dona Sarkar just announced Windows 10 Insider Preview build 14905 for PC and Mobile Fast Ring participants.

Here’s what’s been fixed and improved upon for PCs getting the new build today:

Improvements and fixes for PC

  • We have fixed an issue causing a large blank space to appear between the address bar and web content after the address bar moves back to the top when opening a new tab in Microsoft Edge.
  • We have updated Narrator Scan mode for table navigation to now support CTRL + ALT + HOME to go to the beginning of the table CTRL + ALT + END to go to the end of the table.
  • Microsoft Edge now supports the CTRL + O keyboard shortcut for setting focus to the address bar.
  • We fixed an issue resulting in Sketchpad and Screen Sketch crashing after trying to change the ink color twice in a row when the ruler was visible.

Fast Ring Insiders are encouraged to visit their Update Settings page to start the download and install of PC build 14905.

Happy downloading, Insiders!
