Batman v Superman not dark enough for you? Do you want a complete knockout, drag down fight between DC comics’ greatest heroes and villains? Then keep an eye out for Injustice 2 which has been confirmed for the Xbox One, PC, and PS4. An exact release date hasn’t been confirmed but a video announcing the game on Xbox’s YouTube channel says “coming 2017.”
The video does not show gameplay footage but as pointed out by a commenter and ShackNews NetherRealm will show off real gameplay footage Saturday June 11 at 5pm PST.
The game description states “Build and power up the ultimate version of your favorite DC legends in INJUSTICE 2. With a massive selection of DC Super Heroes and Super-Villains, INJUSTICE 2 allows you to personalize every iconic character with unique and powerful gear. Take control over how your favorite characters look, how they fight, and how they develop across a huge variety of game modes.”
The game is based around customizing characters to battle in a way that you want. The last Injustice game that was on an Xbox console was on the Xbox 360.
