Indie Live Expo 2022 games showcase streaming May 21 and 22

The fifth Indie Live Expo will be streaming on various platforms this weekend on Saturday and Sunday. The Indie Live Expo is a series of digital showcase live-streaming events that aims to connect indie game fans across the globe. It is one of Japan's biggest online game events.

The two-part event be simulcast in English, Japanese and Chinese, and will stream on YouTube, Twitter and Twitch in addition to other platforms.

Day1: Let's Play will feature indie games that are playable right now, with plenty of info and gameplay footage.

Day2: Premiere as you might have guessed, will focus on world premieres of brand new indie games, some of them unannounced, as well as new information on upcoming games that have been announced. There will also be an Indie Studios Around the World video feature.

Indie Live Expo was created in 2020 in response to the many game event cancellations that occurred that year due to the Coronavirus pandemic. The first Indie Live Expo was aired in June of that year, with Indie Live Expo II following in November. Two more Indie Live Expo events were steamed in 2021, again in June and November. The four events combined were viewed by more than 40 million people.
