A month ago, well known leaker Evan Blass revealed that Chinese manufacturer Huawei had three new Windows 10-based MateBook devices in the pipeline: the 2-in-1 MateBook E and the ultrabooks Matebook D and X. The official announcement is expected to take place on Tuesday, May 23 during a press event in Berlin starting at 5AM PST (via Pocketnow).

As you may remember, Huawei first MateBook device was a beautiful hybrid tablet with a premium design and decent specs (12-inch full HD screen, Intel Core m3 processor and 4GB of RAM). When it launched in July 2016, it was slimmer and lighter than Microsoft’s Surface Pro 4, and it also came with a handy fingerprint sensor. We hope the company will continue to raise the bar with its upcoming MateBook portfolio, and we’ll let you know all the details next week. Actually, May 23 will be quite busy as Microsoft will also hold a mysterious Surface-related event in Shanghai on this same day.
