HP has announced a variety of new tablets and PCs today, including a 10-inch tablet that runs Windows 8.1 as well as other larger tablets that run Windows 8.1 and Google’s Android operating system. The Omni 10, HP’s 10-inch Windows 8.1 tablet, is due to arrive this November just in time for the holiday season.
The HP Omni 10 tablet runs Windows 8.1, and features an Intel Atom Z3000 processor. HP also touts a nine hour battery life with this tablet, a screen resolution of 1920×1200, along with Office 2013 being pre-installed. HP has yet to offer a detailed specs on the device.
“Today’s announcement illustrates how HP is reinventing the consumer PC category in time for the holidays, offering four industry-first innovations, next-generation form factors, choice of operating systems, and new services and software that ease the customer experience,” HP stated in a press release today.
