HP Elite x3 grabs new firmware update, here’s what’s new

Posted in:

As Microsoft continues to toil away on what seems to some like a Windows 10 side project in Windows 10 Mobile, OEM partner HP is delivering a steady flow of updates and firmware tweaks to accompany build releases.

Earlier today, HP began rolling out a new firmware for its flagship Windows 10 Mobile handset firmware version 0002.0000.0023.0113 appears to be optimizing areas of the phones such as the camera, stability, connectivity, and security.

For those keeping track, today’s firmware marks the fourth update HP Elite X3 owners should be receiving to date.

HP Elite x3 owners who have yet to receive a firmware update notice should be patient as HP has noted that it will be a rolling update for the time being.

We’ll be updating if necessary after the update is more circulated to see if there are any other notes to be included or issues to avoid after installing.
