With the HP Elite x3 beginning its roll out across various markets, comparisons between Microsoft’s own flagships, the Lumia 950 and 950 XL versus the HP Elite x3, are beginning to appear online. WindowsUnited has taken a look at both the Lumia 950 and HP Elite x3 and in a series of pictures, compares the differences between the cameras in each device.
All the pictures are taken under the same lighting conditions, with the aspect ratio being set at 16:9. The Lumia 950 shoots at 16 MP in 16:9 mode, with the HP Elite x3 bringing in 10 MP. Equally, both devices are able to record video at up to 3840x2160p at 30 fps.
With all that in mind, let’s take a look at the pictures:
As shown, the HP Elite x3’s camera isn’t as bad as initial impressions would have led us to believe. In fact, it isn’t too far off of that from the Lumia 950. The major difference appears to be the light balance on the 950’s camera. Nonetheless, both devices are able to take incredible, high-quality shots, regardless of the megapixel’s stated on the specifications of each device.
