HP launches the world’s lightest compact business convertible notebook in India

In a press conference in New Delhi, HP Inc. today introduced the HP Elite Dragonfly in India geared towards the always-on-the-go mobile business professionals.

The HP Elite Dragonfly is a sub-one-kilogram ultralight premium notebook that claims to offer the ‘world’s longest battery life in a 13-inch business convertible’ – up to 24.5-hour battery life.

The HP Elite Dragonfly boasts of a precision-crafted chassis from CNC-machined magnesium and a redesigned quiet and backlit keyboard with a glass touchpad. It sports a high screen-to-body ratio for a 13-inch business convertible at almost 86 percent. The notebook packs in the latest Wi-Fi 6 connectivity and comes with an optional gigabit-class 4G LTE.

HP Elite Dragonfly also offers a myriad of software add-ons including HP WorkWell, a personal wellbeing software, HP Sure Sense that defends against malware attacks on mobile workers using AI, and HP Sure Recover that gets users back up and running fast.

There are also privacy-focused features like HP Sure View Gen3, an integrated privacy screen, as well as HP Privacy Camera that helps users control what is shared with the world.

The HP Elite Dragonfly is expected to be available from December 1 starting at ₹149,990 ($2092).
