Throughout the last few weeks we have been closely monitoring the situation with HP Elite x3 pre-orders. Just last week, the device became available for pre-order in Australia via HP, and before that, it was available for pre-order on the Microsoft Store in the UK. Today, though, HP’s own online store in the UK has started to accept pre-orders for the Windows 10 Mobile superphone (via Neowin.).
Seen here, the device is available for the price of £706.80, including the regulatory value added taxes. For that price, you will get the device directly from HP plus shipping within 5-10 Business Days. It is also worth noting that the listing also highlights several other accessories for the device, including the HP LCD Speaker Bar.
While the price is a bit hefty, it may be worth it, for the specs on the device are very impressive. HP’s Elite x3 Windows 10 Mobile device features the Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 processor clocked at 2.15 GHz with 4 cores, 4 GB of onboard RAM, a 5.96-inch 2560×1440 AMOLED display, and 64GB of storage. A fingerprint reader and iris scanner are also included, but support for the features are listed as “coming soon” on HP’s website.
