Hitman comes to the Xbox One in one week

The popular first person shooter game Hitman is set to debut on Xbox One on March 11th, 2016 (via Major Nelson). Gamers interested in the game can pre-order and download the game on their consoles, but they won’t be able to play it until the launch date.

As a player, you play as an assassinĀ and yourĀ task is to take on high profile targets across the globe. When it launches in March, you willĀ have access to a few locations, including Paris, Italy and some markets in Marrakesh. More locations will be added in the near future with Thailand in April, USA in May and Japan in June all slated to be available.

The game description reads,

As Agent 47, you will perform contract hits on powerful, high-profile targets in exotic locations around the world. When the game launches in March 2016, youā€™ll enter a world of assassination and visit fashionable Paris, the sunny coast of Italy and the hustle of the markets in Marrakesh.
