Flappy Bird has taken the iOS App Store and Google Play Store by a storm, and managed to top the free apps charts in several countries. At first glance, the game appears to be simple and easy, but in reality it’s going to take its toll on you. For those of you who are eagerly waiting for the game to hit the Windows Phone Store, the Vietnamese Developer, Dong Nguyen, said it will launch on Windows Phone as well in the coming weeks.
The rules of the game are pretty simple: all you have to do is tap to flap the wings of the bird and avoid pipes, and other obstacles that come appear in your path. Simple, right? Well, not as simple as it seems, the game becomes more difficult as you play on. Your goal is to try and get four different medals, including Bronze, Silver, Gold (hard) and Platinum (very hard). As you can see, the difficulty level increases if you want a better medal.
There’s no ETA given by the developer, but there’s a chance it might launch by the end of this month, as Dong tweeted in response, “I could estimate 10 days from now. It has to be approved by Microsoft.”
