Battleborn on Xbox One

A new much-hyped first-person shooter coming to Xbox One on May 3rd 2016 is now available to pre-order and pre-download on Microsoft’s Xbox One console.

The game, Battleborn, is being touted as a new sub-genre of shooter called a “hero-shooter” due to it combining elements of roleplaying games and the traditional shooter. Players can choose from up to 25 playable characters, all of which have their own original storyline, weapons, and play style, and there are plenty of unlocks and items to find. Here’s the official description:

A tremendous band of badass heroes fight to protect the universe’s very last star from a mysterious evil in this next-gen shooter by the creators of Borderlands. Slash and parry, run and gun, cast and dash, or simply obliterate foes while building and growing your personal team of heroes.

Battleborn has its own Story Mode, which can be played solo or with others, and up to 10 players can play against each other online in five versus five matches. The game will also be launching on Windows 10 but no pre-order for that is currently available.
