The second Halo Infinite “Drop Pod” update is slated to release in August. The update will bring a number of fixes to the game, no doubt, as well as some new features. Much like the first Drop Pod update back in June (which added vehicle buffs and improved matchmaking in online multiplayer) this will be a smaller update.
Hey all – we're starting to wrap up the next Drop Pod, which is expected to land in August. We'll be doing a preview blog to highlight its goodness before that, earlier in the month as well. Until then, we were given the okay to touch on one part of it: Visors 🔀

The August Halo Infinite Drop Pod update is expected to include cross-core visor customization. Cross core helmets are expected to follow sometime after. This is part of a plan by 343 Industries to gradually move away from the “armor core” system of cosmetic customization currently featured in Halo Infinite. Also, further vehicle buffs are expected to be implemented as part of the August update.
Will there be any surprises in store for Halo fans come August? Only time will tell. We’ll keep you posted as more info becomes available.
