After the Steam Winter Sale comes to a close, Steam has gone about showcasing all the best-selling games of the year. In an exhaustive list, the online games retailer has laid out the 100 games that forcefully extracted the most money from Steam users' wallets. The top seller's list is divided up into Platinum, Gold, Silver, and Bronze selling games - giving you a fairly wide variety of titles to look over but not flooding you with smash-hits that you've already definitely heard of.
The platinums should be no surprise to anybody. The Witcher 3, GTA V, Rocket League, and - of course - PlayerUnknown's Battlegrounds are among the dominant titles in that category. The other categories have some well-known gems hidden among them, including Cuphead, Sniper Elite 4, Rust, and Dead by Daylight.
Probably the best part of this list is that it might point you in the direction of a few games that you haven't heard of. Rimworld, in particular, is a personal favorite that's managed to find a home in the bronze section of the top sellers list. You may also want to take a look at titles like Factorio, Subnautica, and Path of Exile if you're looking for something new to sink your time into.
