Launch date looms for Halo Wars 2, the next iteration of the popular Halo universe. On February 17, the game will publicly release for Ultimate Edition owners with the full release right on its heels on February 21st. In commemoration, 343 Industries announced today via Xbox Wire that they will be hosting a launch event via livestream.

These sorts of livestreams have been growing in popularity where the developing team of a highly anticipated title will “hit the button” so to speak and talk about their accomplishments in its development. Not to mention chances to win swag and codes from officially hosted giveaways.
And this would be a doozy to miss. In fact, missing it would be quite an accomplishment considering the sheer amount of social media they will be broadcasting on. The event will kick off on February 16 at 4 p.m. PST for Xbox One, Beam, Twitch, Facebook Live, and YouTube.
