343 Industries recently opened the doors to the Halo: The Master Chief Collection Insiders Program, promising fans to ship the first beta update this Spring. The developer is currently working on several updates for the Xbox One anthology including visual enhancements for the Xbox One X, UI and UX improvements and more.

In the latest MCC development update published yesterday, 343 Industries said that the first beta build should be available for select Insiders “within the next few weeks.” Moreover, the first retail update should roll out to everyone this summer with the following improvements:

  • Intelligent Install
  • Xbox One X Visual Enhancements
  • HDR/SDR Calibration Settings
  • Networking and Matchmaking Improvements (Continuous Matchmaking, Network/Multiplayer API updates)
  • Bug Fixes
  • LAN Support
  • UI & UX Updates (Main Menu, Title Screen Video, Button States/Highlight States)
343 Industries will tweak the main menu of Halo: MCC.

If you’re interested in helping 343 Industries fix the Xbox One Anthology, you can still sign up for the MCC Insider Program. For the first public flight, the team said that it will select a small pool of Insiders who’ve played at least 20 MCC multiplayer sessions in the last six months, so check your inbox in the coming weeks to see if you’ve been selected.
