Microsoft’s E3 conference is just around the corner — set to kick off on June 14th in Los Angeles. With few days left in the event, the rumor mill bound to heat up and release information which many users may or may not like. The other day, it was rumored that Dead Rising 4 will be exclusive to Windows Store on PCs, but the news we have today will definitely not please Halo fans out there.
Previously, a rumor said that Halo 5 is coming to PC, something which wasn’t confirmed. The folks at PC Gamer managed to get in touch with the folks over at Redmond, who said that there are no plans to port Halo 5 to PC at the moment. In simple words, Halo 5 is not coming to PC anytime soon.
Microsoft spokesperson said to PCGamer in a statement,
“Our approach is to deliver epic Halo experiences designed for PC gamers and Windows 10, such as Halo Wars 2 and the recently announced Halo 5: Forge. There are no plans to port Halo 5: Guardians to PC.”
For the foreseeable PC users looking to play games from the Halo franchise will be limited to what’s already on the PC including the aforementioned Halo Wars 2 and Halo 5: Forge.Further reading: Gaming, Halo 5, Microsoft, Xbox, Xbox One
