343 Industries recently aired a live-action trailer for the upcoming Halo 5: Guardians game on NBC. That trailer gave the impression that Master Chief, the much-loved hero of the Halo franchise, was going to die. Another trailer was due to be shown on Sunday during the TV show ‘Fear The Walking Dead’, but it looks like that trailer has been leaked online early by someone on Twitter. Apparently the video appeared on their Xbox One home menu, and they felt obliged to share it with the world.
This live action trailer seems to indicate that the reported death of Master Chief was a cover up, but it’s not clear for what reason. The video can be seen below, but be quick about viewing it because it’s possible that Microsoft will pull the trailer soon.
This isn’t the first time that a Halo 5 trailer has leaked online, and it possibly won’t be the last. Halo 5: Guardians will be released for Xbox One on Oct. 27 and will most likely be a huge hit for that console.
