One of the biggest Xbox One game launches this year has been Halo 5: Guardians, the latest entry in the popular Halo franchise. This week 343 Industries and Microsoft are rewarding all of the fans who bought it with the first of many promised free updates that promise to add more replay value, more customizations for gamers, and extra features that may have been lacking in the game’s initial launch.
This update is called, The Battle of Shadow and Light Content Update, and includes new Shinobi and Tracer Armor sets, new helmets, weapon skins, weapon and vehicle variants, a new visor and assassination, and new emblems, as well as the addition of the new Big Team Battle modes and maps and some new legendary items. A special video has been released which showcases some of the content. You can watch it here:
To get the update, Halo 5: Guardians owners simply need to open up their game on their Xbox One console while connected to the internet and the game should prompt to download the update (if it hasn’t done so already).
