A month ago, we reported that the US Microsoft Store had started to offer a $150 discount on the Core i5 Surface Pro 4 with 128GB and 4GB of RAM. At just $849, this model had become cheaper than the base Surface Pro 4 model with a Core m3 processor, and the Microsoft Store also offered additional goodies along purchase such as a free 3 month Hulu subscription plus discounts on the Surface Dock and Office 365 subscriptions.
As of today, this promotional offer on the Core i5 Surface Pro 4 is still available on the US Microsoft Store (via Neowin). However, be aware that the that this model is no longer eligible for additional limited-time offers which are currently only offered with the purchase of higher-end Surface Pro 4 models.
Interestingly, the US Microsoft Store has also started selling refurbished Surface Pro 4 and Surface Book devices last week and the refurbished Surface Pro 4 with the exact same specs is currently sold for $849, so there is no reason to buy one over a non-refurbished model right now. Lastly, we also remind you that eBay is still offering a $400 discount on the Core i5 Surface Pro 4 with 8GB of RAM and 256GB of storage, but you should probably hurry up to get one while supplies last.
