Google fixed AdMob revenue drop bug which was affecting Windows Phone developers

Right after Build, Windows Phone developers relying on Google’s AdMob network for revenue saw a dip in their earnings with the fill rates dropping significantly. This wasn’t too pleasing for developers who use Google ads within their apps.

However, it seems the search engine giant was aware of the issue and said they were “actively investigating” the issue. If you’re one of the affected developers, there’s some good news for you. Google announced via Twitter that fill rates issue has been fixed and users should see the fill rates to get back to normal.

Google AdMob mentioned on Twitter (as spotted on TechCrunch), “Last night we fixed the Windows Phone issue in AdMob and fill rates should be back to normal. Thanks for bearing with us.”
