Going to Build? Show off with a Twitter or Facebook badge

Build 2016 is almost upon us, and Microsoft wants attendees of its big developer conference to celebrate. Our colleagues at Windows Central have just spotted a new tool for Microsoft fans to show their enthusiasm for the conference by adding the conference logo to their Facebook or Twitter profile picture.

Back in July, Microsoft actually pulled out the same kind of promotional tool to add a “Do Windows 10”  badge to your profile picture to support the launch of their latest operating system. So if you want to upgrade your profile picture for Build 2016 today, go to this website and then click on “Get started”: You will get the choice to connect either your Facebook or Twitter account, but you will also be able to upload your own picture. You will then be allowed to customize your picture by choosing to set the badge at the top or bottom of your image. Last, there is an option to link this badge to your own Microsoft account if you want to.

Select your badge and set it as your profile picture.

We’ll be in San Francisco for the conference’s start on Wednesday, and your can read a recap of what we’re expecting to see during these two days. Except a lot of news about Windows and the Universal App Platform, HoloLens, Azure and more!
