The Ghost Recon Wildlands video game will be free to play on Xbox One consoles for all Xbox Live Gold subscribers this weekend from 10:01 a.m. PDT on May 2nd through to 10:00 a.m. PDT on May 6th.

This free play promotional campaign comes just in time for the launch of the new free Operation Oracle content which is now available to all owners of the game regardless of their Gold status. This new content adds fresh story content that can be played either solo or with up to three other players online.

As with previous free play promotions, Xbox Live Gold subscribers will be able to download the Ghost Recon Wildlands and play it in full as if they owned it outright. All progress will save to the cloud and can be continued on from at a later date during another free play promotion or if they choose to buy it.

Note, the game is currently selling with a 70% discount on Xbox One for just $15 so now’s a good a time as any to pick it up.
