The Xbox One is getting a little update in about a week (November 12, to be precise), including some minor improvements like backwards compatibility with Xbox 360 games and a promotion to Windows 10. GameStop is offering up some timely Xbox One deals that you’ll definitely want to check out.
First up, there’s a free game controller with the purchase of any new Xbox One. The deal starts on November 6 and runs through November 18, 2015. So, you’ll have the upcoming weekend to score your free controller.
Next up is a $100 credit towards the purchase of a new Xbox One when you trade-in your 120GB+ PS4 or 250GB+ Xbox 360. That deal is running through November 21, 2015.
Finally, you can get a $250 credit (towards any GameStop purchase, it seems) by trading in a PS4 or Xbox One. Of course, given the awesomeness coming to the Xbox One, we would hope that the former would be the more often cashed-in.
