Games with Gold for May 2014: Dust and Saints Row - The Third

‘Dust: An Elysian Tail’ and ‘Saints Row: The Third’ are the two free titles for Xbox Live Gold members for the month of May, Major Nelson announced. Starting today, the game Dust will remain available as a free download until May 15th, after which it will be replaced by Saints Row on the 16th, which will remain available for free through May 30th.

Dust: An Elysian Tail

Originally priced at $14.99, Dust is a year 2012 title, where players are on a search for their real identity. The game is available for free, starting today. “Immerse yourself in a gorgeous hand-painted world on a search for your true identity. As the mysterious warrior, Dust, you must master the ancient Blade of Ahrah to battle dozens of enemies with an intuitive combat system, take on a variety of quests, discover powerful upgrades throughout the massive, open world, and uncover the story of an ancient civilization on the brink of extinction as you fight to uncover your own past,” its game description reads.

Saints Row: The Third

Developed by THQ, Saints Row: The Third was released in 2012 and sells for $19.99. “Years after taking Stilwater for their own, the Third Street Saints have evolved from street gang to household brand name, with Saints sneakers, Saints energy drinks and Johnny Gat bobble head dolls all available at a store near you. The Saints are kings of Stilwater, but their celebrity status has not gone unnoticed. The Syndicate, a legendary criminal fraternity with pawns in play all over the globe, has turned its eye on the Saints and demands tribute. Refusing to kneel to the Syndicate, you take the fight to a new city, playing out the most outlandish gameplay scenarios ever seen. Strap it on,” its plot description reads.

While the titles will be unavailable for download for free after the due dates, once downloaded they can be kept forever. Are you excited about these two titles? Let us know in the comments.
