Game Troopers working on new Windows Phone titles, updates existing games as well

Game Troopers is a popular developer with a number of titles for Windows Phone under its name. Best of all, the developer has regularly updated its games for Windows Phone, with some exclusives as well. Not too long ago, the developer revealed it’s working on a number of new Windows Phone titles which will see the light of the day in the near future. The titles include “The Last Door” and “Abyss,” along with another mystery RPG title which is also under development.

The Last Door doesn’t feature eye-catching graphics, but comes with a horror storyline starring Jeremiah Devitt who begins his journey to track down his childhood friend. As he moves on, he find out horrific things about the whereabouts of his friend, uncovers a secret society and lots more. It was designed to be a web series and has four episodes so far: The Letter (pilot episode), Memories, The Four Witnesses, and Ancient Shadows.

The Last Door is expected to release this month carrying a 2.99€  price tag and will be compatible with devices with 512MB of RAM. The game is in the final testing phase, but the exact launch date depends on the certification process and marketing decisions.

Next up is Abyss, a game which is already available for Wii U. As a player, your task is to use the biomechanical robot called Nep2no to find natural resources for the survival of human race. “Your mission will be to find the “Gaia” energy stones by exploring the depths. To do so, you must control Nep2no by counteracting gravity and the surrounding darkness with the aid of a Light that will go out little by little,” the app description reads.

It has also reached the testing phase and will be sent for certification as early as next week. The game will carry a 2.99€ price tag, and will also support devices with 512MB of RAM. As for the release date, it will be the next paid title to launch after the company is done with The Last Door. Furthermore, the developer said it will be better than the version released on Wii U and will be a exclusive for Windows Phone and Windows 8 — sounds great doesn’t it?

Last but not the least, the company is also working on a 3D RPG game. Game Troopers didn’t reveal the name of the game, but said the development has started, but it won’t launch before the end of summer. The developer didn’t even reveal name of the game, but only revealed it’s an RPG title.

On a side note, Game Troopers launched a new game, Tiny Troopers 2 Special Ops for Windows Phone yesterday, and updated most of the popular games under its portfolio with bug fixes and improvements. If you happen to be regular player of What’s in the World, Overkill 3, or Lines, check the Windows Phone Store as updates are available for them. As for Make It Rain, it will also get an update with new features ahead of iOS and Android.
